White Water Rafting in Scotland

White water rafting near Fort William, Oban and Inverness.

During the summer we raft on the River Garry near Fort William and River Awe near Oban due to the guarenteed flow of water from hydro dams when other rivers can be completely dry.

After getting kitted up in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid & helmet you will recieve a safety briefing from our experienced river guides.

Once you have been briefed, during your white water rafting trip you will experience the thrill of bouncing down rapids, crashing through waves dropping over falls and paddling your way down a spectacular and wild river.

White water rivers are graded on an international scale of 1 to 6 with 1 being easy and 6 being the limit of navaigation.

River Garry Trips (Grade 3-4) £50pp – The Best Gauranteed White Water Rafting in Scotland!

White water rafting in Scotland can be world class with the right water conditions and due to having sceduled dam releases of water the River Garry is the best guarenteed white water that is available in Scotland during the summer months.

Other rivers that are used for white water rafting in Scotland can require a lot of rain to get them into condition. When the dam releases water from April to Octrober the River Garry is a classic grade 3 and 4 white water experience, it’s that good we run it twice per trip!
