River Rafting in Scotland

River Rafting Safari £45pp

White water rafting is not for everyone but you may still wish to come on a river journey with us where we use our white water rafts to cruise down a gentle river and look at the scenery and hopefully spot some wildlife.

A river journey can be one of the most relaxing ways to spend a morning or afternoon. Let our guides take you down some of Scotland’s most scenic rivers with spectacular views of our mountainous landscape.

  • Spot the wildlife including red dear, buzzards, Kingfisher and the occasional eagle and maybe check out some old castle ruins on route.
  • A couple of small rapids along the way to increase your enjoyment of the river.
  • Fun wet games for those that wish to take part or sit back and laugh at everyone else
  • A great family day out or journey with a group of friends looking for a more sedate alternative to white water rafting.

Where?

River Oich into Loch Ness

We regularly run trips down the River Oich which runs from Loch Oich into the head of Loch Ness at Fort Augustus. This trip meets at our base at the Great Glen Water Park which is 25 miles north of Fort William. The River Oich is a beautifull river journey with a mixture of meandering water and grade 1 and 2 rapdis and it has the added bonus of finishing right at the head of Loch Ness. We have a minimum age of 5 years and over for this trip and everyone is kitted out with a wetsuit, bouancy aid and helmet for warmth and safety.
